Wednesday Report
Shay had a much quieter day today. His right lung is looking much better. They are still working on his left lung. They have been busy taking crud out of his lungs. Physical therpay went well today as he followed their commands. Needless to say this is a much better report then we had yesterday. Everything has appeared to level out on his heart since they shocked him yesterday. They did put him on blood pressure medicine but it is in a small doseage. Not a lot to report tonight but no news is good news!

Keep it up Shay! You should see some of your fans here at school. You even have people that have made shirts that say Team Shay. It is awesome! We are always checking your blog for updates and I want the next update to be a good one too! Proud of how you are fighting. Chris and Kelly said you were a fighter and we are getting to see that! We are constantly praying!
ReplyDeleteCoach Peck, Matt and Kynlee!
Hey Shay, we are missing you. We have watched a few NCIS episodes without you but promise to re-watch them when you come home. Oh, I thought of you last night when we fast forwarded the majority of six hours of Biggest Loser. I know how much you love reality TV. I'm getting a little worried. It won't be long until the contestants are down to my weight. I gotta stop eating ice cream while I watch that show.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good day. It's good to see that physical therapy has you working out like the rest of the team. You need to fight hard so you can listen to next weeks game on the radio.
We miss you tons.
Hey shay I was up to see you tonight I got a little eye movement tonight. I was glad you were resting tonight. You have many days of work to do as soon as you are better.
ReplyDeletewe are still praying for you see ya tomorrow.
lova ya Aunt Sam
Hey Shay,
ReplyDeleteWell the Bokemper's have had to stay away for a few days due to Daniel and Sue deciding to get nasty colds, but we are all on the mend and hope to be able to see you Friday. Daniel commented to his dad on the way out of the hospital Monday that in spite of all the machines and things, "he's still the same old Shay I knew". Bo sends his best wishes from Cuba, Mo where he is visiting an old friend and hunting. He will stay in touch with your folks and check the blog for updates. Stay strong and keep battling back--we know you can do it! You, your folks and Zane are in our thoughts and prayers constantly.
Sue, Bo and Daniel
Hang in there Shayster your doing a terrific job! Justin only has 8 more days until its off to see you! He is sooooo excited. There's not a second that goes by without me saying a little prayer. We are so very proud of you, keep fighting and we love you!

ReplyDeleteHey Shay and family. It is so fantastic to hear of the positive strides in Shay's recovery. Keep notes coming! You are still very much in our prayers. I cannot help but feel that the calm, quiet moments here are good ones. Shay's body is healing. Take care, Mrs. Pierson
