Good morning friends and family. As you all know this is going to be a big day for us filled with what we assume to be many ups and downs as the doctors try to ween Shay off his bypass machine. I am asking that "Team Shay" would whisper the following words to our Heavenly Father that were left by an anonymous person.
My heavenly Father please watch over Shay and his family it is a big day for them. Lord I pray that you will strengthen Shay's heart so it will beat on its own. Please help the bleeding in the heart and let his heart and body start to heal. Shay is loved by so very many people. Lord please oh please take care of him. We love you Lord and thank you for all our many blessings. Amen
Dear Lord please be watching over little Pearl and her family right now also. I pray that you will comfort them and heal her kidney Lord. You are an awesome God and we love you Lord. Amen
Dear Lord while visiting Shay at the hospital we have met many parents with very sick children I pray that you will watch over these children and be with their parents dear Lord. We love you Lord. Amen

You remember that time when we were at your house. and you threw the basketball at me and i stuck my hand out and it just bounced right off my hand and into you face! i felt really bad but it was funny! It is HAT DAY FOR SHAY today so he and his family will be on everyone's mind. You couldn't have picked a better day to fight because the whole school is with him today.

ReplyDeleteHey Shay, it's your sister. So, hopefully you'll be awake and picking on us before the weekend is over. I've got my fingers and toes crossed and have been sending you more positive energy your way than I know how to handle! Mom said Zayne got mad last night because he wanted to see his bubby and they wouldn't let him. He said they were mean. :) It made me giggle a little. We both love you so much and we both think it sucks that we can't be with you, but when you get a little stronger we'll both be able to be there with you. And if it will help you feel better, I will totally run into the wall at the end of the hallway for you. ;) you can explain that one to mom. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOU!!! Stay strong, keep fighting, and have some rad dreams, little bro.

What a true testament of faith you as Shay's family are showing. This is a lucky boy to have such a team on his side. I went to school with Kelly (Stallings) from a young age and know the kind of person she is. I always knew she would do good in picking a mate, but wow, I am so impressed with the words of encouragement and love you all are showing. I am praying!!!! God Bless each and every one of you!
